A prominent support and donor of Ukraine, David has donated over $2.4 million to nation’s humanitarian efforts in the last year.

Since the start of the war in February 2022, David has provided substantial donations to emergency efforts for the Ukrainian people both in and out of the country. His support for humanitarian and military needs in Ukraine has included a sizeable donation to Borodianka Central District Hospital, located just outside of the capital city of Kyiv, financial support for the Ukrainian armed forces, and the shipment of critical material from the USA.

David has provided crucial support to the Ukrainian war efforts not only through his financial donations, but also by leveraging his public profile and connections to cut through red tape and smooth the path for aid into Ukraine. Formula TV, the prominent opposition TV channel in Georgia that David founded in 2019, has also been instrumental in rallying support for Ukrainians, keeping the conflict at the fore of the national discussion in Georgia, and generating donations through its designated ‘Ukraine Support Fund’.
